Abstract
ABSTRACT MUHTADI YASIN PRATAMA / 1600861201011 / 2019 / THE EFFECT OF CAREER DEVELOPMENT ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT PT AGUNG TOYOTA JAMBI PAL X BRANCH / 1ST ADVISOR MR. DR. H.. SAIYID SYEKH, S.E., M.P / 2ND ADVISOR MR. DRS. RASDI, MM. PT. Agung Toyota Jambi Pal X Branch is a company engaged in the sale and maintenance of vehicle brand Toyota. PT Agung Toyota in realizing the predetermined targets need to be supported by good employee performance. To create a good employee performance, the company needs to pay attention to the career development process for employees. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of career development on the company's employees ' performance. In this research the authors using career development indicators are career policies, job performance, education, caderisation, training, work experience, working relationships, and self-development. Performance indicators are no-shows, delays, long-term work, quantity, kulaitas, cooperation, protective measures, constructive ideas, self-training and profitable attitudes. The primary Data used is from a questionnaire that was shared with a population of 45 people. Secondary Data is derived from the essays and scientific works. The data analysis method used is a simple linear regression, using SPSS program version 16.0. PT. Agung Toyota Jambi Pal X located at Jl. MARSDA Surya Darma, Kotabaru Pal X Jambi (36128), stood since January 24, 2014. At the beginning of the establishment of PT. Agung Toyota used the name PT. Agung Concern. In 1972, started as a Toyota automobile distributor when Toyota decided to open a car factory in Indonesia. Part of PT. Agung Concern which specialized in selling Toyota unit changed its name to PT. Agung Automall in 1992, and since the year 2014 PT Agung Automall changed its name brand with the names Agung Toyota. The results showed that career development has a positive value, meaning career development has an influence on employee performance. The regression equation shows the result Y = 0.805 + 0.645 X. The influence of career development on employee performance by 64.4 percent and 35.6 percent of employee performance is influenced by other variables outside of this study. Based on the results of the management research of PT Agung Toyota branch Pal X Kota Jambi can pay attention to the caderization of the company. In the process of caderization that occurs in the company. In addition, the management of the company is also expected to increase employee motivation so as to reduce the intensity of employee delays at work. So that the intended purpose of the company can be achieved as the employee's performance better.
