Abstract

ABSTRACT Sintia Dwi Rahayu / 1600861201293 / Faculty of Economics / Management / Finance / Influence of Net Profit Margin, Return On Assets, Return On Equity and Earning Per Share Against Stock Prices in Food and Beverage Industry Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2014-2018 / Supervisors I Dr. Pantun Bukit, SE. M.Si / Supervisor II Amilia Paramita Sari, SE. M.Si. This research aims to determine the effect of simultaneous and partial variables of Net Profit Margin, Return On Assets, Return On Equity and Earning Per Share on Stock Prices. Net Profit Margin to calculate the extent to which a company's ability to generate net profit at a certain level of sales. Return On Assets to measure the company's ability to generate net income based on certain asset levels. Return On Equity to measure the company's ability to generate net income based on equity. Earning Per Share is a form of giving benefits to shareholders from each share owned. The stock price can be said as an indicator of the success of the company where the market power on the exchange is indicated by the sale and purchase of these shares in the capital market. Changes in the company's stock price gives an indication of changes in company performance during a certain period. This research uses descriptive quantitative method and the source of the data in this study was obtained through several literatures related to the research, the website of the company concerned, financial statements and the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The object of this research is the food and beverage company which is one of the industrial sector categories in the Indonesia Stock Exchange with a population of 18 companies and only 7 companies that become research samples because they have the required criteria. The test results show simultaneously Net Profit Margin, Return On Assets, Return On Equity and Earning Per Share have a significant effect on stock prices, with a significance value of 0,000 < 0,05 and Fcount greater than Ftable (18.758> 2.69). Partial testing of Net Profit Margin and Earning Per Share has an effect on the Share Price, with a significance value of Net Profit Margin of 0.001 < 0,05 and Earning Per Share 0.000 <0.05. Comparison of tcount > Net Profit Margin ttable is 3,831> 2,04227 and Earning Per Share is 8,096 > 2,04227 while Return On Asset and Return On Equity have no effect on the Stock Price.
