Totalassetsareassetsownedbythecompany,eitheratacertaintimeor foracertainperiod.Totaldebtisacombinationofshort-term debtand long-term debt.Withacombinationofshort-term debtandlong-term debt, itmakesthecompany'sburdenevenhigher. Butthehighburdencanbeusedtolowercorporatetaxes,whichis whatmakesaprofit.Netincomeisprofitthathasbeendeductedfrom expenseswhicharethecompany'sexpensesinacertainperiod,including taxes.Thesampleusedinthisstudywere2companiesintheanimalfeed sub-sector.Thisstudyusesmultiplelinearregressionanalysis. Theresultsofthisstudyindicatethatsimultaneouslytotalassets andtotaldebthaveapositiveandsignificanteffectonnetincomeand partiallytotalassetshaveapositiveandsignificanteffectonnetincome whiletotaldebthasnosignificanteffectonnetincome.
