Abstract

The objectives of this research are as follows: 1.) To determine and describe the work environment and performance of CV Pagoda Jaya Jambi City employees. 2.) To analyze the influence of the work environment, work stress on employee performance simultaneously at CV Pagoda Jaya, Jambi City. 3.) To partially analyze the influence of the work environment and work stress on employee performance at CV Pagoda Jaya, Jambi City The type of data required and collected in this research is quantitative data. The object of this research is the employees of CV Pagoda Jaya, Jambi City. The data source in this research is employees of CV Pagoda Jaya Jambi City who were taken through interviews by distributing questionnaires, the data and information obtained were analyzed descriptively, to analyze employee responses regarding the work environment and work stress on employee performance using a 5-choice scale. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis, it was concluded that the regression equation Y = 6.730 + 0.562X1 + 0.335X2. The correlation coefficient (R) value of the independent variable is 0.778. This value shows that the relationship between work environment and work stress on the performance of CV Pagoda Jaya Jambi City employees is strong, namely 0.778. Meanwhile, the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.606, which means that variations in changes in Y are influenced by changes in the work environment and work stress by 60.6%. So the magnitude of the influence of the work environment and work stress on the performance of CV Pagoda Jaya Jambi City employees is 60.6% while the remaining 39.4% is influenced by other factors outside this research. There is a significant positive influence between work environment and work stress together (simultaneously) on performance. The Fcount value is greater than Ftable (24.576 > 3.24) with a significance level (sig) of 0.000 < 0.05. Partially there is an influence of the work environment on the performance of CV Pagoda Jaya Jambi City employees. This is indicated by the tcount value being greater than ttable (3.769 > 2.022). With a significance level of 0.001 < 0.05 and partially there is a significant influence of work stress on the performance of CV Pagoda Jaya Jambi City employees. This is indicated by the tcount value being greater than ttable (2.792 > 2.022). With a significance level of 0.009 <0.05.
