Abstract

The title of this research is “The Influence Of the Principal’s Leadership Style In Teacher Performance at Mts Nurul Iman Jambi City”. The aim of this research at Mts Nurul Iman jambi city is to determine the descriptive leadership style and performance of taecher at Mts Nurul Iman jambi city and to analyze the influence of laedership style on teacher performance at Mts Nurul Iman Jmabi city. This research ibcludes descriptive research to test hypotheses. The sample for this reseacrh is 42 Mts Nurul Iman Jambi city teacher using the census method. The entire population is used as respondents to answer this statement the data analysis technuque used is SPSS with validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression test, t test and determination test. The Influence Of the Principal’s Leadership Style In Teacher Performance at Mts Nurul Iman Jambi City Y =34.591+0.189, the constant 34.591 means that if the variable laedership style remains, then the performance of teacherat Mts Nurul Iman jambi city of 34.591. the coefficient for the leadership style variable is 0.189, meaning the if the leadership style variable increases by 1%, the performance of Mts Nurul Iman Jambi city teachers will strengthen by 0.189%. The conclusion of this reseacrh is the overall leadership style on teacher performance is very good. And based on hypothesis testing, it is known that there is a positive reletionship between leadership style and teacher performance.
