Abstract

The objectives of this research are as follows: 1.) To determine and describe the organizational culture, training and employee performance at the Sumatra VI River Regional Hall. 2.) To determine and analyze the influence of organizational culture and training on employee performance simultaneously at the Sumatra VI River Regional Hall. 3.) To determine and analyze the influence of organizational culture and training on employee performance partially at the Sumatra VI River Regional Hall. The type of data required and collected in this research is quantitative data. The object of this research is the employees of the Sumatra River Regional Office VI. The data source in this research is employees of the Sumatra VI River Region Hall who were taken through interviews by distributing questionnaires, the data and information obtained were analyzed descriptively, to analyze employee responses regarding organizational culture and training on employee performance using a 5-choice scale. The Sumatra River Region VI Center is a work unit under the auspices of the Directorate General of Water Resources, Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing of the Republic of Indonesia. The Sumatra River Region VI has the main responsibility for managing water resources in the Batanghari River Region, Jambi. This management covers various aspects, including planning, construction implementation, operation and maintenance, with the main objective being the conservation of water resources. Apart from that, the Sumatra VI River Basin Center is also responsible for utilizing water resources and controlling the destructive power of water in rivers, beaches and lakes, as well as various other water sources such as ground water, raw water, irrigation areas and swamps. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis, it was concluded that the regression equation Y= 39.746 +0.499X1 + 0.362X2. The correlation coefficient (R) value of the independent variable is 0.773. This value shows that the relationship between Organizational Culture and Training and employee performance at the Sumatra VI River Regional Center is strong, namely 0.773. Meanwhile, the value of the coefficient of determination (R) is 0.597, which means that the variation in Y changes is influenced by changes in Organizational Culture and Training by 59.7%. So the magnitude of the influence of Organizational Culture and Training on the performance of employees of the Sumatra VI River Regional Hall is 59.7%, while the remaining 40.3% was influenced by other factors outside this research. There is a significant positive influence between Organizational Culture and Training together (simultaneously) on Performance. The F-calculated value is greater than the F-table (45.994 > 3.15) with a significance level (sig) of 0.001 < 0.05. Partially, there is an influence of Organizational Culture on the performance of employees of the Sumatra VI River Region Hall. This is indicated by the t-count value being greater than the t-table (3.443 > 1.99897). With a significance level of 0.001-0.05 and partially there is a significant influence of training on the performance of employees of the Sumatra VI River Region Hall. This is indicated by the t-count value being greater than the t-table (3.124 > 1.99897). With a significance level of 0.003 <0.05.
